Summary: On Wednesday, October 18, 2017, near the City of Santa Rosa in Sonoma County, PG&E identified a 32-inch diameter Douglas Fir tree, approximately 100 feet tall, that uprooted and fell into a Live Oak, a Madrone and several other Oaks taking down one span of the Dunbar 1101 (12 kV) Circuit at 8000 Pythian Road. The Douglas Fir was located uphill, approximately 80 feet from the distribution conductors. CalFire has taken possession of a section of the primary conductors. This information is preliminary and PG&E is fully cooperating with Cal Fire.
